Thanksgiving
By Rick Long | November 26, 2008
As I consider the tremendous blessings of my life, I know that I don’t deserve anything but out of God’s abundant grace and mercy I am truly blessed. I have a wonderful family whom I love and am loved by. God allows me to serve a fantastic and growing group of people at The Point Church. None of this I deserve.
What I least deserve is forgiveness that is accomplished by the cross of Christ.
I pray that you enjoy time with your families this Thanksgiving. Eat lots of good food, take a nap, play with the kids, cuddle with your spouse, give thanks only to God. Have a God centered thanksgiving.
The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me;
to one who orders his way rightly
I will show the salvation of God!” —Psalm 50:23
