Hissed Off

So lastnight as I am about to fall asleep I hear Jay Leno say something about a pastor in Frankfort Kentucky. Naturally, my first thought was that he was talking about me. I thought maybe he was using one of my jokes or referencing me as a innovative pastor that is influencing culture for the Gospel. He wasn’t talking about me.
I had to use the review feature on the DVR to hear that he was talking about a pastor “in Frankfort” who had been arrested for handling poisonous snakes in a church service. Leno said it was a Frankfort pastor, but he was mistaken. The pastor is from the far southeast corner of the state in Middlesboro Ky, where churches have names like “Full Gospel Holy Ghost Tabernacle of the Little Baby Jesus In Jesus Name”. The article that Leno referenced refers to Frankfort, but only because there is a state law against snake handling.
