Treasuring The Word
By Rick Long | March 11, 2008
In Sunday’s sermon I mentioned 10 key passages of Scripture that can and should be memorized. At one time or another I have had these committed to memory but I must admit that I have had difficulty recalling them today. So, I will commit to re-memorizing these passages. The danger here is that someone thinks that this is enough, and there is less value in other passages. Ofcourse, this isn’t true at all. All Scripture is worthy of our time, treasure and life.
These are passages that I have found helpful for various reasons, both personally and in my ministry. I suggest that you make Scripture memory a priority and that you carefully search Scripture to determine what gives you the encouragement, guidance and correction that you need.
